Costco Trip with Eddie

Family Love

Yesterday, Saturday, I did my usual grocery shopping with Eddie, my son. Usually, we segway into a mother and son date. However, we also had a party to attend later that day in Fremont. So, I let this pass. He tends to have this no expectations mind set on the monthly grocery shopping days, so I just go with the flow.

After Costco, since Eddie was hungry, we headed over to Island Taqueria to have a late breakfast. He didn’t have breakfast before picking me up. I learned the freaking large burritos they cook up here at this Mexican establishment. Holy lord, humongous! He ordered me a regular soft taco with Pico de Gallo. It was a pretty big portion and delicious and filled me up. Yummy! It’s so big the camera couldn’t even capture a decent pic. Haha :)We hung out for a bit people watching. The weather was beautiful though chilly in the morning. It was actually chilly this weekend, but gorgeous blue skies, but wrap up in a scarf or sweater will suffice. We had a talk about my daughter needing some help. She has a lot going on, and since they’re cut from the same cloth. He needs to cut her some slack. Lend a hand when needed. Thankful again for a wonderful day in the neighborhood. We also cruised over to Peets coffee to get my cup of solace. My morning anchor. Always have to have it.

So that was it for rolling the ball with my son to Costco. Never a dull moment but always fostering conversation and floating in quicksand. Stay tuned……..
