Family Potluck

Texas Bro’s Last Day

We had our last party in my youngest brothers house in Fremont. A large 4 bedroom, upstairs, followed with the kitchen and dining downstairs. And a huge backyard with lush emerald lawn. The party was held in the afternoon and until you drop! Just kidding, wink wink. What I thought started out as low key was actually a full blown family gathering with a lot of food, and alcohol. The usual chit chat, talk the night away party. I brought tons of soda, but I saw no one having it! Haha……

All good. My distant cousins also came over, but without their kids. My “twin” brother was there, without his wife and kids. My oldest son, Eddie was there and my daughter as the evening progressed. Some people like to be fashionably late! My nieces and nephews were there, and we took plenty of pictures. Pictures that will probably display in the near future, but I haven’t decided yet. And that’s another discussion.

Later in the evening, my brothers played the Dominoes game. One game I don’t know how to play. I’m sure I’ve played when I was younger, but it’s been a while. During the course of the afternoon, we drunk shots and it went on through the evening. I’m impressed with myself as I thought I’d be inebriated by 8pm! I had four shots. Me. Shocker! And as an Autist, I don’t normally last this long, so kudos. Admittedly though, I can feel myself and the fatigue setting in and had to bring the evening to a close. Time to go and luckily, my sister was ready to wrap it up as well.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend as well. It was a pleasure to share my thoughts and fun time with you. Feel free to share yours. That’s it for now.
